Are you a Dirty Person?

Are you a Dirty Person? Definitely NOT!!! .. but dust mites still like you!
Dust mites are microscopic, only 0.3mm in average total length, and cannot be seen with the naked eye. Dust mites don’t carry diseases, but they can trigger allergic reactions, especially in asthmatics and others who are allergic to their feces. Normally dust mites are often found in mattresses, pillows, cushions, soft toys and carpets, as that is where they found the best food supply. It has nothing to do with how often you wash yourself, or how often you change your sheets. As far as, as you shed old skin cell every day, dust mites will like you just as much as they like others.

An average human sheds about 1,5 million skin cells per hour, which is 10 grams of dead skid a week and that will accumulate to 3,6 kilos every year. Besides, people perspires one quart every day even by doing nothing, including while you are sleeping of course.

Based on the combination of dead skin cells and sweat, the accumulation of human hair, animal hair and dander, molds, spores, all kinds of bacteria, house hold dust, dead dust mites (yes, including their own bodies), will provide a perfect living environment with constant food supply to dust mites. Therefore, an average bed can contain from 100.000 to 2.000.000 dust mites, EASILY.

You will be further disgusted if you hear that within 5 to 10 years, your pillow weight will double because the both the dead and still alive dust mites body and its fecal pallets, aren’t you? Doesn’t it ring a bell to finally look at how dirty your mattress and your pillows are, even when they look just fine? Doesn’t it make you wonder why you have those complains of sneezing and breathing problems, if you know every time you inhale while sleeping, you breathe in actually lot more than just ‘’pure’’ air?
So, do take the right action as soon as possible to keep this dust mites issue close to minimum for your own health.
